I need you to understand something. I wrote this for you. I wrote this for you and only you. Everyone else who reads it, doesn’t get it. They may think they get it, but they don’t. This is the sign you’ve been looking for.
You were meant to read these words.

The Flipping Coin
When you're at the top, remember what if felt like at the bottom. When you're at the bottom, remember what it felt like at the top.
mAny tend to(or will forget)how they feel when they were at the bottom after they reach the top..n when ur at the bottom u long to breathe the air on top..sometimes i do wonder is the air on top kinda evil..or its juz us people..what do u think?.. but its true as the saying goes'what goes up muz come down'..
What that means is, when you're sad, you only remember sad things, so it seems as though your whole life has been sad. When you're happy, you only remember happy things, so it seems the other way round.
The trick is constantly reminding yourself of this.
I needed to read this, having a week that put me at the bottom, wondering how those at the top live with their decisions (long story) but I think it comes back to treat others how you would like to be treated, no matter where you are on the spectrum...
How do you DO it?
ReplyDeleteSo simple, yet so profound.
Kind of like: "Be the kind of person you want to attract."
Thank you!
I don't really do anything :)
ReplyDeleteEverything that I speak about is a basic lesson in being human that everyone, no matter who you are, learns at some point in their life.
I just try and write about those lessons in a way that reminds people of what they already know.

Memory is state specific.
