The Time We Were
Do you remember when we were vampires? Do you remember when we ran through the streets at night, our heads back, laughing and screaming, so alive it felt like we owned the world? Do you remember?
we ran wild through the city. screaming in their faces. animals on the loose. hunting down life like it was prey. hiding from the sun. screaming with the moon!
Are you sure you remember? Every detail? Then why do you act like you don't care? You act like you've already forgotten me, us, and moved on. It hurts so much more than I am willing to let on.
