I need you to understand something. I wrote this for you. I wrote this for you and only you. Everyone else who reads it, doesn’t get it. They may think they get it, but they don’t. This is the sign you’ve been looking for.
You were meant to read these words.

The Minutes Of The Meeting
When you finally understand what it meant, the truth will leave your lips. Not as words. But a sound at the back of your throat.
i see you had your mind all made up you group of pitiful liars. before i woke to face the day, your master plan transpired. -something told me- this job had more to meet the eye. my song is not believed? my words some- what deceiving? now i'm unwhole.
...and what a meeting it was, what a collision. didn't you see me coming? i saw you but couldn't swerve. you knocked me out with that smile and left me for dead.
wow, such a transcending blog! Who truley knows what YOU meant when you wrote it, but i apply it to the 1st time my lips touched his & SO true...the realization of Truth...both releived and afraid, so *gulp..."what does this mean for the future"?
lol...or I apply it to my last job interview, upon meeting the employer, in rushed the Truth *gulp..."what does this mean for the future"??! lol...i liked this, it took me a while to internalize & wrap my mind around it, but it fits so well!
The truth will slide slowly as murmurs in darkness.
ReplyDeleteBut then again, why murmur when you speaks the truth?
Unless it is an unbearable truth, no?
It's the title that hit me. How true, how beautiful, the first minutes of our meeting.
ReplyDeleteI've never forget the look on your face in the light.
And the only memory it left me was your smile.
ReplyDeleteThe longest minute of my life..
You had me at hello.

ReplyDeleteIt'll be too late. You're too late.
ReplyDeleteI graduate in less than 17 hours. I'm waiting for this moment of realization. I'm waiting to figure out these last four years.
ReplyDeleteWill that be a sound of regret, or relief?
ReplyDeleteis there any other meaning of goodbye? still i wait for the moment its full meaning hit me, till then i can't say goodbye.
