The Birds Throw Themselves Against Office Windows
And if the only reason you're still with them, is to make them pay for all they've done to you, the question remains:
I remember having a conversation similar to this a while ago. Revenge is a form or result of anger and anger is an emotion. We only have emotional responses to things or people we care about so in a round about way I suppose the answer to "Why are you still with them" is that the person still cares
maybe revenge on a lighter note.
ReplyDeletecaus revenge is the echo of love that you hear when you've suddenly stopped screaming it.
ReplyDelete...maybe the metaphor doesn't work...

Because wanting revenge is my way of saying that I still care.
ReplyDeleteBecause I'll always love them more than I'll ever admit.
ReplyDeleteTo revenge

An eye for an eye definitely makes the world go blind. (Hugs)Indigo

ReplyDeletebecause I have to pay my dues too.
ReplyDeleteBecause I only want him to be nice to me instead of hurting me. And I know he will.
ReplyDeleteand yes, Apple, because I'll always love him more than I'll ever admit.
ReplyDeletebecause i want them to know how it feels, and then perhaps they wont do the same to others.
ReplyDeleteMake them pay? Maybe I thought I could erase it by loving enough to stay despite. I am the one paying for it. Vengeance never came into it.
