I need you to understand something. I wrote this for you. I wrote this for you and only you. Everyone else who reads it, doesn’t get it. They may think they get it, but they don’t. This is the sign you’ve been looking for.
You were meant to read these words.

The Shape Of Air
You love the way air moves. And now I can no longer breathe.
You move me like the wind moves a flag. I'm here for you. Without you I'm just a brightly coloured piece of cloth on a stick. Which is fine but now I've flown on the current of your love I'm not content to be still anymore. What can I say to bring you back to me?
the air refused to move balloons hung still hawks wouldn't ascent no leafs trembled chimes ring silent dust fell strait childrens kites leaned every flag hangs creased the clouds all flattened sails boats drift a girls dress clung to her thigh smoke stacks blackened the sky

ReplyDeleteballoons hung still
hawks wouldn't ascent

childrens kites leaned
