I need you to understand something. I wrote this for you. I wrote this for you and only you. Everyone else who reads it, doesn’t get it. They may think they get it, but they don’t. This is the sign you’ve been looking for.
You were meant to read these words.

The Future Is The Past Waiting To Happen
And though you may not be able to imagine what I was like, I did live. More importantly, I loved.
These posts touch my heart every day, but some are even more poignant than others. This is one of them. Last night I lost a dear friend to Multiple Sclerosis. Randy lived with a capital 'L'. But more importantly, he loved....
Thank you for all that you do. Your words are more important than you know. :)
I remember driving past those huge graveyards in ny...they go on forever. even really cold cold people love, its just they dont/didnt feel comfortable and were probably told when they were little or something happened to make them more concerned with making a living than having one, but i guess my point is that we all have that in common and i take that as a kind of starting point for thinking of us all together instead of thinking first im a isralei and your a palestinian etc.
i read obituaries all day at work and really, this says more than any of them. i wish they all were like this instead of the super long ones listing all of their 'accomplishments' like somebody gives a crap.
I’m on distant planet, hoping i can reach you. Attempting to make contact through satellites. Satellites sent long ago, sucked in by your gravitational pull. We hope the messages have found their way to you. Even though we have a feeling they burned up in your atmosphere. We are preparing another, this one will be made up of even stronger materials, emotions that can withstand the strongest rejection. We have not given up hope. We will clear your atmosphere, we will land. We will make contact….with your heart. - P.R.C.
Beautiful. I have the hardest time going to graveyards, I think this is why. It's not that they scare me or anything, I just feel sad for all the lives gone, and the loved ones they left behind.
This was perfect. You are so timely, it is uncanny. Spent yesterday placing flowers on my mom's grave, she's been gone five years, but time doesn't make some holes easier to live with. This post, however, makes the good memories a little closer. Thank you :)

ReplyDeleteIndeed, love extends through time; so we can still be brave even with our senseless bones, and touch the one we love grave by grave.
ReplyDeleteYou are capable of sustaining life, and so are we
