The Strangest Days
And when I'm far from home and I feel like an alien, trust me, somehow I never left you.
i never left you because i don't know how to. every step i take takes me farther from this place i once lived but never tears you from my heart. i want you to know, i was here all along. even when it appeared i was absent, i remained.
I wanted to leave, i really did. I left and I couldnt feel more like an alien but I still some days i get that feeling as if Im still there i guess a part of me could never leave you. Sorry I took you for granted I now know what it felt like for you

You said that, and then you left, to be with someone else.
Explain to me, please, what does love mean when you pick the one you love the most to be the one who has to suffer the most?
It could mean that there is just somebody to love so much more.
