The Middle Of The Universe

I understand that you care. I just sometimes feel that the people who know me best, are people I've never met.

  1. It's easy to pretend that somewhere out there, someone actually knows.

  2. I trusted that stranger more than anyone else, he would not judge me as he doesn't know me. I told him my stories and for a minute he made me smile. We were so unconnected but somehow we matched.

And you, my long life friend, you never have the time.

  3. and the people that are supposed to know me the best, know me the worst.

  4. Perhaps there's another me, I've never met...

  5. Because the people we meet and live with, they do not know us. They merely judge us and follow their perspectives till the end, without ever trying to correct them.

  6. I feel like this alot of the time. You are not alone out there!

  7. Anyone care to share their interpretation of this please?Tt

  8. Depth of emotion and thought are easier to achieve behind veils of anonymity. It is always simpler to reveal our true reflections to those we do not have to face.

Those around you can only understand what you choose to let them know. Even then, you can only act and they can only react in a way that is consistent with the You they know. It doesn't mean they understand any less. It doesn't mean they care any less.

Everyone just shows less. Never forget, we are all actors on a stage. (As people you have never met, our scripts just aren't so strict.)

  9. They don't pretend to know me. They don't predict me.

I know you care. And you're so busy caring you forget to pay attention.

  10. Because we don't want to hurt them.
Because we don't want to drag them into the mess we're in.
    Because we care for them.
We hide our true self from them.

  13. it's because they can be honest, because to hell with it, when will they ever see you again? they can say, "oh you're just being stupid." or "accept it and move on." or "that guy sounds like a real piece, drop him." and i can believe they're not just being nice or protecting me. strangers are honest, regardless of whether or not they care.

  14. The honesty here is not a sad one for me. We get to choose every day who we let in and who we do not - it is not something that gets decided for us - and there is such magic in that.

  15. Then you must be one of the lonliest people out there if you truly believe that. There will always be one person that knows you best of all, the issue here is whether or not you are willing to let them in to reveal to you the beauty that is inside of you. A stranger will never do that, no matter how hard you convince yourself otherwise. We are all interconnected somehow on the internet, but in getting so attached to this, we are losing our humanity, or human touch, and the ability to appreciate what is right there, in front of us; Something and someone that is tangible.

  16. ...And so I find solace in a stranger's company, paying attention, listening, or perhaps even caring, caring the way you ought to.

  17. there is only so much one human can figure out about another. this hurts the most at the worst of times, and then sometimes it requires you to be considerate to people who probably don't deserve it.

also, i miss reading something new from you everyday. write more often please?

  18. Sometimes you're the windshield. Sometimes you're the bug.

It's been a long time coming but I assure ya - I'm gone. I deserve so much more .

  20. It's easy to give a stranger the best of you, there's little reason for them to see the worst; not so easy to give the best of ourselves to those who are close to us.
To those close to us, it's easy to give our worst and expect only the best.

  21. Thank you for finally telling me the words that make sense about why my best guy friend can't talk to me about the pain he is going through right now. Now I understand.

  22. It's because no one is prefect and human do judge and they have emotions too. But everyone wants to be nice.

  23. This is true, because the people you never see or hear are the ones that will never hurt you. They will never turn there backs to us twice because they have never seen our faces in daylight, they will never know our secrets like a dog, close friend or a mother would, they would never hurt us with our own secrets, but its life and peoples thoughts of life.............
