The Silver Lump In My Throat
I hope you know how long it takes me to learn to talk again, whenever you make me forget.
You are the one who does this to me, and someday, in jarring, tumultuous shock, you will believe finally believe it. Finally catch me catching my breath. I'll be waiting.
