And I do, happiness is a gift. I'm grateful. Feels so odd being grateful for love. The same thing countless people take for granted each day. While I extract every ounce, every second that I can. I am the one with a knife cutting away the bad bits of orange and enjoying the rest. I dine grateful and appreciative like a homeless person, cold, scavenging, in my fingerless gloves. I envy you endlessly as you walk by. Warm, clean nonchalant. Thank you for what you give me. You are very kind. I can never be you because I can never forget.
