The Fact Of The Matter
You get to choose the people you like. Not the people you love.
Not true. It's the other way around. Liking someone is effortless, it comes naturally. Loving someone long-term is hard work, it requires dedication and decision. Maybe you can't choose who you fall in love with, or who you obsess over. But you can choose who you want to love for the rest of your life. Believe me. I've done it.
