I need you to understand something. I wrote this for you. I wrote this for you and only you. Everyone else who reads it, doesn’t get it. They may think they get it, but they don’t. This is the sign you’ve been looking for.
You were meant to read these words.

The Packaging Of People
"But this is just another box."
"No it's not, it's the box we put you in if you say 'Don't put me in a box.'"
People don't like to be generalized. They strive and strive to be free of stereotypes. And when they do, they fulfill the stereotype of unstereotypical people. Hence, the box we put you in when you say, "Don't put me in a box."
This is a guess, but are you referring to how difficult it is to be completely original? Some way or another, you're just like everyone else in your own little "box."
But I hate to be caged, you should know that by now! Don't give it a title, just tell me you love me and go home. Give me a kiss on the forehead and glance back in my general direction before taking off. I can accept when things go wrong then. Once you give it a title, it's all over.
As long as I'm in the same box as she is I'm cool with it.
My dear good man, I have been using a link at the end of my comments recently. If you dont allow them, thats cool but I have no way of texting you to find out now. I invite you to look at my blog I think i suck but I notice my words and thoughts coming together more easily than before...your blog all the posts and pics, are truly amazing. If you ever want a coaster made of one of your sayings and pctures I will make one free for free.
I'm sorry. I don't understand what this means. What do you mean?
ReplyDeleteThis is a sad thought.

Boxes are for products. I'm not a product; I'm a creator.
ReplyDeleteSince we don't like to be categorized. They can package us together. Me.

Crying With A Sense Of Human
^ that even those who tries not to be stereotyped or labeled get labeled anyway as "don't wanna be labelled." :D
ReplyDeleteEven in chaos there is order. It's hard to escape.

ReplyDeleteI still enjoy every box delivered to me and I hope one day you'll be there for me, then we can open the boxes together. Just you and me.

ReplyDeleteIve grown up now...and have stopped choosing the boxes ...as i know ...we get what we ought to get.....
ReplyDeleteThat's a hard box to break out of. Especially when you don't fit it in anymore.
ReplyDeleteNothing will ever come between us again.
