The Chance For Light

No gods or devils. No angels or demons. No group of people controlling the world. Not the greatest person to ever live. Not the worst. Just people. Just a person. Just like you and me.

  7. She's nothing like you and I. They aren't either. Not the worst? Just people who think they're the greatest people to ever live. Just no one. Just a person. See the light.

  14. They are greedy, numb individuals who only seek self gratification and recognition. Do not forget where you came from and don't allow these people to influence you for the worse. We don't believe we own the world. We care greatly about worldly affairs here at home and abroad, sometimes more than ourselves. We are sensitive. We are different. Do not lose concept of who you are. Love yourself. Me.

  15. So fake. I hope you see through them. I know you see me. I hope you see us. I will always be there for you.

  16. Did you people (the commenters) not attend grammar school? It's not supposed to be "You and I"! It is correct the way it is.

I shouldn't even have to tell you this, as it is asinine and childish to pick apart the grammar of a beautiful line of prose such as this, but I will tell you anyway.

The way to tell if it should be "me" or "I" is that you have to take out the "you and" clause and the sentence still has to make sense with whatever is leftover. If it was "Just like you and I" then it would be "Just like I" when you took the "me" out.

Idiots. If you're going to criticize a beautiful piece of writing and photography, how about you at least make sure you have your facts straight first?
