The Air Carries You Away

I've tried to put you down on paper so many times.

But you keep getting up.

because our love was based on lies
my lies

only the truth should be written on paper

And if you did pin me down, what then?
What use would I be to you?

My feeling exactly.

Now I can explain all the half forgotten fragments of you. That are never quite you. That's why I've been writing all this time and I've never defined you.

But if I stayed down, you would stop finding reasons to want to capture me back again. Admit it. ;-)

Because I know that what you will put on paper will be too good, and I will not be able to give it back to you. :(

Even if there was a plan. I'd change it. Just to keep life interesting ;)

I actually really love this quote.
And I actually really love this site.
Though it is sad, it makes me feel like I'm not alone, and it helps inspire.

Because no matter how many things you write about them, there is always more to feel, to remember, to want.

You're breaking me down and pushing me apart without even noticing. I'm just another unrecognizable face in a crowd to you. You've ruined me for everyone and yet you've truly done nothing. I'm not too sure if i'm happy about that anymore. Sometimes when i'm awake at night I wonder what your soul looks like. I wish you wanted me. But you're too scared, and maybe too old, and i'm too broken. So maybe nothing is all we're ever going to be. Maybe nothing is what we're meant to be
