Thank You For Your Support. Here’s A Free Book.

[Edit: IT'S OVER! THE BOOK IS GONE! I'll do something similar again soon - follow me on twitter, facebook, instagram or elsewhere to stay up to date. Thanks to everyone for the, quite honestly, overwhelming response -  the book will be available on Amazon and elsewhere soon.]

Since I started writing I Wrote This For You in 2007, all I ever wanted was a chance to take what Jon and I were doing on the blog into the real world and turn it into something physical, something that could live next to someone’s bed or at the back of a bag, something that could be dog-eared and underlined and be given and received. Something that could be touched and loved.

At the end of 2011, that became a reality. I Wrote This For You, the book, has been and continues to be a remarkable success. Since then, we’ve done another two I Wrote This For You books, I Wrote This For You: Just The Words and I Wrote This For You And Only You. I wrote a science fiction novel called Intentional Dissonance, a short collection of poetry about the NSA and just this weekend, as you may know, a new collection of poetry and short stories that didn’t fit inside I Wrote This For You called How To Be Happy.

So, to say thank you for supporting me and for buying my books over the years, for sticking with me when I had a nervous breakdown and stopped writing, for just being you - I’m giving away a small book that I’ve had lurking around at the back of my hard drive for a while but only for the next 24 hours.

It’s called 300 Things and it’s a collection of things that I hope. Click here to download a free .pdf copy of it.

Thank you for your time. I know it's valuable and I, again, sincerely thank you for choosing to spend it with me.

The first time I found IWTFY was last summer at Barnes & Noble. The book was so simply designed, which drew me to it. My curiosity increased when I realized the book was completely anonymous. The most beautiful things I have ever read were somehow kept anonymous. I was intrigued and bought the book on the spot.

Since then I've bought physical copies of the other two IWTFY books, received another as a gift (now I have doubles :]), and own copies of Intentional Dissonance and How To Be Happy.

Thank you so much for being such an inspiration! Your words are more than poems, they are words to live by. They are little reminders of how we should be each day. I Wrote This For You has inspired me, changed me, and helped me grow. I can proudly say I'm a "softer" person because of you. Thank you for existing and being so beautiful.

PS. Thank you Jon for making each poem even more unique and visually pleasing

Thank you so much for continuing to write all of this! And I very much do appreciate the books you have created! Your two I Wrote This For You books have lived somewhat near my bed quite often lately! And I take them with me in the Barnes & Noble bag I bought them in quite often, too! Lol. ;) :)

You're welcome! And thank you very much for this beautiful little gift! It's very lovely! :) You have no idea how much it means to me! :) <3

I have had this website bookmarked at the top of my browser since I was about 15 (I'm 22 now). Your writing has followed me as I've grown, and I still checked daily for posts even when you were gone. I don't know you at all and I feel like you have been one of my closest companions for years. I've never commented on a post before, but I wanted you to know that you have some very loyal followers who really believe in you. Thank you for existing.

I would love a copy of this novel and honestly if it's out in stores I'll sure buy it and if we ever cross paths I'll probably have 7 for you sign in my backpack.
