The Upsidedowness Of Everything

So yes, I laughed. I laughed at the pain and the futility and the frustration and the heartache to keep it separate from me. And while it may seem like insanity to you, it is the thing that prevents it, for me.

Someone once told me it's okay to lose it sometimes and be insane. That it's okay to forget about everything for one moment and just think of all the good things. One moment of joy. One moment of peace. <3

Maybe it's because of the effort to move the muscles, or the chemicals in the brain - at least during that little tiny moment that we laugh, we do forget :)

You just love the past. Forget the future then

I'm glad you can laugh, even its to ward off pain, just so long as you don't forget the sound of your own laughter.
You taught me that :)
I love you.

I'm going to a funeral in an hour, and I agree.

How is it that you see my soul and put my life into words?

I suppose that just goes to show how much people are really all the same.

This is why I laugh. "A Smile is just a frown turned upside down."

The night this was written, I had been thinking about when I told him I couldn't see him anymore. I thought about how he laughed when I said goodbye. I won't tell myself that he did because the pain was too much, but the coincidence itself was enough for today. The universe shows it cares in funny little ways. Thanks for helping.

Insanity is sanity, if you've been insane too long.

I laugh and reach for a pen, or my phone, a means to share this moment with you -the only person who'd understand. I'd give anything to hear that music come from your mouth again.

Why don't you get it? My heart aches everytime I try to injure yours.

So I laughed to mask the slight shadows crossing my face everytime it happens.

And yes, I laugh out loud to mask it all. But how come you cannot see what really lies beneath all those acts?

I'm falling over you. Quite hard.
It hurts..

Sometimes I think you lied when you said you wanted me to let go. Sometimes I think I think that because it lessens the pain of the reality.

I always thought laughing was your own natural medicine. Still, stop laughing at other people's misfortune.
