The Person You Aren't

You don't have to be the person you tell people you are. You can just be who you are.

Thanks for the words. You know, when the book comes out (and I certainly hope it will), I'm going to order at least two copies. One for my mother, she's bound to like this, even if her english isn't very good. Another for me, just so I can pick a page randomly when it's just another one of those days. And today, it is, so thank you for the words.

That's been the idea behind it generally, that you can find the right words at the right time. Thank you for letting me know it works :)

Jon and I are on the 3rd or 4th draft of the book right now and I'll be making the latest set of changes over the next week, so hopefully it'll be ready soon.

Iain,in typical synchronicity - I wrote a story on my blog this morning about a friend who lived and died holding tight to who she told people she was. She used drugs and alcohol so she did not have to face reality.

And then I read this.

If only it were more simple to know who I really am.

Please be who you are. I'd like to tell you this. You're okay that way. You're even better that way.
