Today, even though I am with family, I feel so alone that it hurts.
I know I am beautiful and loved by the universe...yet I feel so alone it hurts.
I tell myself to be positive and I search for the good in everything, but every now and then the alone-ness overcomes me, and it hurts.
Maybe tomorrow the atoms and stars will be in perfect alignment and I won't feel the hurt.
I am so sorry it hurts.
I promise the stars change, the world turns and good days and bad both come and go.
That is more true than anything else I have ever been told.
I lie awake, wondering who might be lying beside you, hoping (and hating myself for hoping it) that you are as alone as I am right now. That you won't find someone until I have too. A wish that we end our loneliness together but apart. A wish that someday, you too, will become just another face in the crowd.
That maybe someday it's someone else's name sitting on my lips waiting to escape.
I never plan to leave,
Even when everyone else, does.

You can run all you want but you can't run from yourself and when you'll get to face that it will HURT more than it ever hurt before.
