The Trees Grow Quietly

The things you struggle with today are things you choose to struggle with.

Because you believe that what you want to accomplish, is worth struggling for.

"Only because it's still so raw and real. Soon I'll just be a series of images that sometimes flash through your mind, when you least expect it. And after that, only a few will stay. Then, one. A memory of a memory." You will be fine. I promise.

Life dictates the truth of this right now. Our plans require patience, struggle and concern for others, we will cause pain but have to minimise it, that's the joy of being a grown up. When we achieve our goal, the world will have to rearrange itself to meet our needs x

She is strong enough to love you so she is strong enough to deal with this. Her tears ceased months ago. We'd like to think your guilt would cease with that. Let her run. It's what she likes best anyhow. She just forgets that sometimes. Don't let her come back. Do you hear me? Let her run. Put up your fences. She may eventually bolt through. Crack the whip, make her run. She may not like it at first, she may even test you or make you feel horrible for it. Stand your ground. Crack the whip. Make her run. Let her go. Do not feel guilty for it. Let her whine. Let her cry. Let her heal. Let her write. Let her yell. Let her deal with everything on her own. She's strong, stronger than most, so she doesn't actually need you. She may forget that sometimes. You may forget it too. Crack the whip. Make her run. Let her go. Don't let her come back.
