The Lipstick On The Window

The words "I love you" become nothing but noise. But that's why we kiss. To say with our lips what we couldn't before.

OOOh, you are back. Yes. I can feel again.

Your lips betray me, so I run away. But I come back because I am not enough. I can't inspire me. I need a you, another you who can wrap your love around me and nourish me. Be my love, don't be my iron maiden. And hurry, time weighs heavy on me.

That you could taste for yourself these feelings I have no words for.

He never said "I love you."
That's why I yearned for + treasured his kisses so. Because I could at least pretend that's what his lips were saying...

"I will not fall in love with your bones or skin. I will not fall in love with the places you've been. I will not fall in love with anything but the words that flutter from your extraordinary mind."

Wow! How many times do we skip over what we are longing to say!

I hurt you if I say those three words. And that is why we kiss, laugh, and cry, and secretly say 'I love you' to one another.

Such truth. Such powerful words like that are thrown around too much.
It's like when you say a word over and over again, and it loses its meaning. That makes me a little sad.

I only hope that your love could give me everything I need to get to where I want to be. I'm quickly running out of air. Why won't you just rescue me?
