The Wood In The Trees

You constantly look for a sign and when it's given to you and you don't like the answer, you call it a coincidence. There are no coincidences.

Mmmm...sometimes, there are coincidences. And, more often than that, there are just things happening, that are neither signs nor coincidences -- that are not anything at all, but just Are.

(and I think that's okay, really)

I admit that I look for what I want in people, but don't you? Doesn't everyone? I believe things happen for a reason but I just wish we were enough.

I just found your blog, and am almost wordless, in admiration. Your words and images are a delight; a quiet place to come for reflection; a sense of gentleness and love pervades it all.

Thank you for sharing this.

Some other times I interpet it as a negative sign because it's more convenient,so that I can quit but I usually don't.And that's just how stubborn I am.

So true.
I'm from Malaysia. I just found your blog and I've spent most of my day today reading your blog posts.

It was a gloomy day today but your words truly made my day.

Thank you.

when we remove judgment from a situation/sign it's not longer good or bad, it just is...who knows-something thought of as "horrible" could be the one event that changes your life down the road for the better.

iain, this is one of my favs. :-)

luv luv,

I learnt this the hard way. Thankfully I've moved on. He is still a part of my life, but my world no longer revolves around him. My heart no longer aches to be with him.

There is no fate. There's only series of coincidences. We're just very good at finding patterns in them. Of course we call it coincidence if we don't like it. That's what empowers us to free ourselves from our own cobwebs, our own metaphors.
