01 - The Leftovers (donate/song/post) by Patrick Clancy
07 - ?
As a tribute to the people of Japan and their courage and strength in the face of overwhelming natural catastrophes. As a marker for the untimely deaths of thousands of people.
We dedicate this.
All we ask, is that if you download any of the tracks, you donate to either the Red Cross or Doctors Without Borders (the donate links go to one of the two), depending on your preference.
I'd like to thank the musicians and artists who have already contributed tracks based on I Wrote This For You entries and invite other musicians and artists to also contribute, to help raise funds.
If you'd like to do that, and expose you and your music to a wider audience, you can reach me at pleasefindthis at gmail dot com.
There won't be any posts for the next few days as Jon, our Tokyo based photographer, has slightly more pressing issues to worry about right now and I'd like to draw attention to this.
In the meanwhile, please, spend a moment to think about the "you" on the other side of the world from you, waiting and hoping for the help they need.
We are all human beings here, separated by nothing more than large puddles of water and occasionally, the fear of the unknown.
We are all on the same ship.
We are all, you.
For Japan,
Me.

This, too
Brilliant, nothing we can do will ever be enough. But everything little thing does count.
I think this is a great idea, and I'm proud I could be a part of it.
I wonder why there are so very few comment for this post. Just because it was not witten for 'you'? Where are those wannabes who caused traffic in this comment page, making this a mock chatroom of their incessant boring personification of the words of Mr. Thomas.
This is amazing. Bless you, Iain.
Billy, maybe they just don't respond because they are hurt or busy or dead or ill or whatever doesn't come to mind right now.
Be careful judging people like that.
Thank you for doing this, mr. Thomas.
This is wonderful.
I am so happy to see that not everyone in the world is only concerned with themselves. Thank you for doing this. Jon, I hope everything gets better there and I am so sorry this tragedy happened to you and your country. I have been following I Wrote This For You for a few years now and I feel as if I know you both personally.
Thank you for all that you do.
I love you all.
I don't know.. but I don't think many people commented on this perhaps because they don't know how to respond to it? It's such a lovely post and I hope/believe everybody whos read it appreciates it, but (for Billy) at a time like this comments should be the least of everyones worries here, who knows, maybe in the lack of them they were made up by people donating. God bless. I hope things get better.
These are great songs, you are doing an amazing thing, bless your heart:)
