The Missed Appointment

So yes, we could kiss. I could kiss you and you could kiss me. There's no science, plane ticket or clock stopping us. But if we kiss, it will end the world. And I've ended the world before. No one survived. Least of all me.

I like how I was reading all these comments for the other post, and when I pressed 'back' there was a new post :)

you do realise, don't you, that you are possibly the one person in the world who makes sense this early in the morning without the dose of caffeine that runs in my veins? :)

or we could kiss, and have our thirty minutes of wonderful before we end the world.

give me that kiss. mow. i don't care if the world will end a second after we kiss.

Actually, the plane ticket does prove to be a bit of a hindrance...but that's soon changing. I can't speak for you, but I am afraid of ending the world...for me...

I cannot wait.

that would be one powerful kiss

I would end the world for you, but you won't end your relationship for me.

how come everyone's anonymous?:)

I intentionally didnt kiss you back then, for I knew it'll be our last. Somewhere deep in me, I have this silly thought that because I didnt give you that last kiss, we're still us now..

Thank God I nearly missed my plane and have to make a run for it, cause finalization hurts.

You will forever be within me. Nguk.

What's so incredible, always, is that the world can end again, and again, and again -- keep on ending over and over until forever.

I still haven't figured that one out.

The moment just before the world ends, though -- that moment can stretch out into forever, also.

And I like the beginning after the end !

the kiss of death, a kiss of betrayal, goodbye kisses...they all seem to end "the world as we know it".....

and it only means goodbye is not always so "good" after all...

Yes, it was the end of the world. Now, I wish I am dead. Bcos that will be less painful that surviving, only to find myself without you.

I dont get it why would a kiss be the end of the world? It could be the begining of something new. With a kiss you can make me stay when i was planning to go.

Why do you always write about my life?

I'm not ready for the world to end yet. You keep your mouth there, and I'll keep mine here, until I trust myself enough to be sure.

A kiss is the end of the world world because it is the beginning of love. Love creates a new world you can never see things the way you saw them before once you fall in love and eventually that love will fade and the world will end again and new love will find you and end that world and on and on it goes.

I hate reading everyone elses comments (it reminds me that you aren't talking just to me) and you're words are enough. Everyone else crowds out your simplicity and the beauty of my reaction.

but love is never simple, morasue :)

Wow that's really beautiful! It really hits home!

I went for it anyway, because the world that would've continued to exist without us kissing had nothing going for it. And so far, my decision has yielded nothing but positivity.

That's why I can't kiss her...

Sometimes a kiss is just a kiss; sometimes the world doesn't end and you both survive and go your own separate ways.

Sometimes though, I don't want to settle for just surviving. I want to start really living. So I'll keep on pressing my lips to boys on park benches, hoping to end the world.

i'd rather kiss you then die then to not kiss you at all

Anonymous said...

why do you always make sense? and why is it that even when i don't want to relate- and i don't want to believe the things you're saying;; they ring true.??

Anonymous said...

it wont matter if our kiss would end the world..
..maybe this time..you and i would survive..so lets just kiss...give it a try..

Sometimes it would just be the end of my teeth without caries or my breath without stink.

--it's like saying falling for you, is taking a risk of getting hurt all over again.. but if pain is what it takes for me to taste your lips, your kiss, your love.. then i don't care, let's end the world right now.

i love how you make me smile by painting stories in my mind... =]
