The Air In My Lungs

When sadness was the sea, you were the one that taught me to swim.

sinking lower
mostly dead
i was pulled out
an act of courage,
yes,as this person had been
gravely injured themselves
but much much more
as the person near the bottom
was the one who had injured her

I was a ship captain & you were my lighthouse.

I became driftwood when your moon stole my tide & the seagulls of your laughter never stopped echoing in the seashells of my thoughts.

Yours were always the bitterest of waves.

Now that you've left, all that I am is drowning.

Like a puncture I gasp, breathing yet out of air. Still.

It's always incomplete.

But why me? If anything, you were the one who shone a light on the waves I almost completely drowned in. You are my lighthouse...but sometimes I wish I didn't have to swim so far to you.

Could you, if I forgot to name my most recent post of words either

i meant

if i say beautiful which I was going to say in a post about seeing poems up ( no lies here) it could be I thought misinterperted as a snide comment to you.

SO i put quotes on and posted it for the absurdity thinking youd understand what I meant.
On reflection I dont think anyone could have understood what I meant except to think i was being snide.

Im sorry. I swear that is the truth. If you post this with a star in it or something ( just the star a word I will leave and not come back.

Im sorry THis was a kind of inside joke thing, but i didnt mean it as a joke as much as an absurdity...

Aaah...You were the one to teach me to swim but you actually never were. It hurts when at crucial times...you and my heart turns away.I never accept that my heart is with you but my heart accepts that. Help me! Troublesome! :-S
